Kristen is depressed because she is suffering from depression. A regular or temporary chat with a therapist might help. Maybe some regular or temporary meds. Depresion does not discriminate. Rich, poor, famous, or not. Just like cancer.
She's hurting and getting beaten up for it in the court of public opinion.
She's beating herself up for feeling bad. She needs help.
