I’m glad they suspended this kid and think that they should not change the charges ... if it was the first time he had demonstrated inappropriate behavior to that little girl it would be a different story but this is the third time that the school had been notified.
WELL I HAVE A 2 YEAR OLD GRANDSON AND HE JUST LOVES THAT SONG COME ON I THINK THE SCHOOL WENT WAY OVER THERE BIG HEADS.OMG THE LITTLE BOY IS ONLY 6 AND ALOT OF KIDS LIKE THAT SONG.IF IT WAS MY GRANDSON THAT THEY DID THIS TO I WOULD BE REALLY UPSET ITS JUST A SONG AND HE DIDNT THINK HE WAS HURTING ENYONE.AND ABOUT RESPECT YOU SO CALLED PERSON WHO SAID HE NEEDS TO SHOW RESPECT HE IS ONLY 6 YEARS OLD HE DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT THAT WORD MEANS SO LAY OFF HIM.KEEP FIGHTING FOR YOUR SON HE DID NOTHING WRONG .THE SCHOOL DID THEM JERKS.

They should not have suspended this little boy, he did not understand the lyrics and he is only in the first grade. Instead of suspending him, they should have talked to the adults in charge of him and explained why they are upset with him. They are taking the bullying/harassment issue way too far with this situation and they should be ashamed of themselves. Little kids like the song because it it a catchy tune, come on people just explain to the child why this is not appropriate for school.

Are you kidding me!! I have a 6 year old granddaughter and she dances and sings that song ..She's just copying the M&M commercial.. I think it is terrible that they suspended that little boy!

I tell you what, I have a 3 year old grandson who sings that song also due to the commercial and I can almost gurantee he has sang that Song in his ECE class and I'm sure shaking his little bottem. And I'm sure he's probably done it more than once because he does it at home and I don't correct him.... I think its terrible that they suspended that little boy!!!

My 3 year old sings this song all the time!!!!! am i to fear him getting suspended for it? Think this could be the reason there ate a high number of kids home schooled???? I think so! Way too over the top on this. Such stupidity on the schools part!

I think that this whole ordeal has gone way too far, I agree with another comment on here, you all should be looking at M&M Company, Sesame Street or any other educational or cartoon company out there! COME ON PEOPLE, START CARING ABOUT THE KIDS EDUCATION AND NOT THE UNNECESSARY "STUFF." HE WASN'T SINGING IT WHILE LOOKING UP SOMEONE'S DRESS!

I think the school district, teachers and parents need to take a look at the songs they play on the radio in commercials now a days. Can you really find a song anymore that does not cuss or have some provocative meaning to it?? My kids listen to that song to and may go around and sing it we all do and now I have to worry about them getting suspended for a song that is in a commercial advertised towards children is just wrong.

That they are teaching children that age thats funny, at their age they do not understand the word sexual. They just like the m and m commercial,its cartoon to them makes them laugh.
Does anyone think the little boy was out to make someone laugh. He is a inocent child. Children that age dont understand some things.

I think with it being the THIRD time they talked to the boy about doing this yes because he needs to learn to respect other people. But for this to go on his permanent record is WAY over the top for a six year old boy. =(

I can not believe that this happened. It's so dumb! My 5 year old son sings that stupid song day and night, while in school or daycare. And I have yet to hear any complaints from parents or teachers. Lets get real people that to me is going way to far!
