Well said, Regina, and you are absolutely right - 100%. Hollie was the best singer in the competition and should have won - hands down. Jessica just growls and her singing/notes sound so forced like she is trying too hard. Philip is cute, but not idol winner worthy and Josh is a good soul singer, but not well rounded enough to win idol, in my opinion.
America was greatly influenced by the judges' prejudice against Hollie and swayed into favoring Jessica. This season makes me never want to watch AI ever again. I'm all about The Voice now - that show puts AI to shame... especially with the talentless judging panel on AI when it comes to singing, with the exception of Steven Tyler, but he is high 99% of the time anyway, so he knows not what he says or is listening to.
Never in the history of American Idol have the judges shown such prejudice towards one singer as the judges did this season with Hollie Cavanagh personally they should all be fired. If one looks back at the finals they will see how the judges consistently over and over again were "EXCESSIVELY HARD" on Hollie Cavanaugh if their comments were less biased Hollie Cavanagh would have made it past the final 4. For them to come out in the end and say JLO was Hollie's biggest fan made me sick..her disdain and lack of respect for Hollie was overly apparent. And that ass kissing scene with Hollie and the judges in the end like they really cared about Hollie was appalling.
