I happen to be a 57 year old white woman, who is Very interested in Civil Rights Issues. Dr. Martin Luther King was/is one of my biggest Heroes. As much as I have been interested in Race Relations, since I was a child, I have NEVER heard of this HORRIFIC story. That poor young man, how he must have suffered!!! I wish that the SAME EXACT "Punishment" could have been meted out to EVERY person in the town of Waco, that was involved in this Hideous MURDER. But, someday, they WILL stand in front of GOD, and have to give an account of WHAT THEY DID. Sickening, stomach-turning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is serious business blacks should study their history an understand why certain things are
happening around them today, we have been so busy living, distracted by bills an other responsibilities thinking the racial issues and agendas are over that its layered right under our noses.

WOW thx 4 pulln up Texas skirt huh? Right on no lie its alot of racism in Texas but there are a lot of historical southern states with a history of the same genocidal tendencies. Have I ever heard of this particular history before today? No. Am I glad I have? YES!!!! It's hard 2 explain when I haven't lived from that spectrum. I'm angry as hell!!!! How n why could this happen? My heart breaks for those people. But in this day & age as a black woman i dnt know what my choices would have been then but today i know he wouldn't be made to suffer alone ( clear warni g) they had no choice then . We as a people n this day nbtime do.... Please chose your words n your battles wisely . Don't win a battle of ignorance to loose a war of what's right
