Do you think rappers and athletes are helping to keep Black America broke?

Ok ive thought about this for a while. No far as i see it. Those who support hip hop arent broke! If you can buy a concert ticket, im pretty sure youve got food in your ice box. Far as bafoonery.. pac aaid himself. "I dont know why they mimic thug life." Its because they/we have no father figures who are succesful in ways as rappers far as nice cars and clothes and such. Our role models are pimps and thugs.. and we cant stay close to shit like that.. cause they wont let you if they really care.. so the rappers tell of their come up.. rappers like. Ti tell you truth like selling drugs is a dead end street. But we still do it. Cause the other guy is saying something different. Rappers are like the fathers of the world. They speak from a certain standpoint. So they cant be blamed for the wrong doings of the world. Every one has a mind! Peer pressure is whats ruining the world! Theyre trying to survive just like we are.. and personally i think its much harder to survive as a icon than an average joe.. cause nobody knows your pain.. they only know your fame. Thats all i got to say. Holla if you hear me.

Though the buffoonery part is clearly right, we can not blame the smaller percentage of people for the acts of a bigger percentage. The rappers and athletes chose to build their success in one way but every one knows there are other ways besides that. All though rappers and athletes do have a big influence on young adults and kids, it's the job of the parent to instill in the child that becoming a rapper or athlete is not the only way to go and is an indefinite path and that education is a definite way to go.
