Lebron could guard everyone on that team and the DT never played against the athleticism of Westbrook, he would blow there guards away. They also never saw anyone that could score as easily as Durant can even if the best defender on there team is guarding him. And how often did they play against an Anthony Davis type player.

The 2012 team would win if they played against each other because the 1992 dream team players is at least 45 yrs old or more. The age difference is the only reason the 2012 team will win. Ha! ha! ha!

over the years, the game has become more and more physical.
the 1992 team relied on talent, that doesn't mean the guys were less capable physically.
the 2012 team is primarily phyiscal, especially the guys from Heat.
the olypmic rules are more strict with regard to offensive fouls, so the US team will have to play more talent, where Cobe might apply, but Le Brant and Wade would be restricted.
the 1992 dream team would win over the 2012 team, if we implement the olympic rules in the game.

I've been watching since The mid 80's....The game has changed, no doubt about it. But where do these players from today think they learned how to play like this? It was the 1992 individuals, that's who. The league today is stronger, I don't doubt that, but the players on the 92 team were the exception. They are and always will be the greatest basketball team ever assembled. Magic and Bird aside (although even they would school these 'kids'), the rest of the team could run offense AND defensive circles around them. Kobe and Lebron are the only two who could compete with them on both ends....and even MJ would admit that.

Even without the players being in their prime, '92 DT would win. These were guys that not only won individually, but could make those around them better. They played as a team and could tear you up one-on-one.

The '92 team would smoke these guys in a second!!! Each of the '92 team members was an exceptional player who was able to pull a complete championship team around themselves. It was the '92 team that enabled this 2012 team to be what they are and have the ability to claim to be the end game of basketball. If Kobe Bryant or anyone else on this team can provide the type of highlights or championship play as the game 7 Bulls vs. Pacers game did or the type of play the other Jordan championship games did, let's see these highlights. I don't see these 2012 players opening doors or paving the way for an entire generation of players the way any one of the '92 team did.

Todays' team is full of individual stars. If "K" can get them to play as a team they might have a chance. My QUESTION is...Who shoots, Who plays into the low post and gets the pass, Can the US even play a "zone" defense, Can all the talent even agree to play together????

Not even close, even with Bird and Magic at the end of their careers. Nobody on the 2012 team could handle Ewing and Malone and Barkley, etc. etc. etc.
