Rocky Ford melon growers should sue you for your irresponsible reporting. Last years outbreak was never in Rocky Ford. Jensen Farms was the sole guilty party in their farm in Holly. Almost 100 miles away. Wth. Save the firefighters and screw the farmers heh?

As a Colorado Farmer, we grow mostly for critters, but it is a hard living and the farmers get such a raw deal, leave the farmer alone they do what they can to provide a crop, Rocky Ford is not to blame. You do not what me to really tell you the truth, but I know about sabotage!! People think they just go to the grocery store to get their food, they don't realize that when they ruin the farmer. take their water and their land. Do not come to my house for food, I have plenty and I have the good stuff! You all can starve! But those who support us, you rock!!

Please stop blaming Rocky Ford. Those melons weren't from there. We will always support Colorado farmers.

Just wash your melons before you cut them open every time no matter what time of year it is or where they come from and you will be fine.
