How do you approach apparent conflicts between Scripture and Science?

I think we complicate things to the point we confuse ourselves. It is simple and straight forward, "in the beginning God created", therefore, he simply created. What did he create? EVERYTHING! Even science! Because we are made in his image, we enjoy expanding out knowldge an understanding of this world, and in the end it all comes down to God. God created. That what it started with, that's what it ends with. And it is truly amazing!

Science has been proven wrong time and time again. The Bible has proven itself to be accurate. If we believe the Bible to be the inerrant Word of God(as I do) then we know that if science and the Bible conflict then the science is either inaccurate or the interpretation is wrong. Science uses many "theories" and assumptions and then tries to pass it off as fact. Bible haters gobble it up and wash it down with evolutionized milk. Who is man that he thinks he understand the mind of God. His ways are not our ways-so why do we try to prove Him scientifically? We can never even consider changing our Bible to match up with science.............period.

I have blogged about a similar subject because I have pondered at length a third way as well. In fact, I have a draft post that includes a link to one of your posts because some things you've said have added to my thoughts.
My posts have been concerning the Creation versus Evolution matter, and it boils down to the fact that the two are not mutually exclusive concepts. They can be reconciled, but it takes a very open mind. Because something can be proven by science doesn't mean it isn't a miracle, and because something is a miracle doesn't mean it can be proven by science.

    The Scriptures does not bow.
Who is to say that from all species after creating all life on earth God has decided to create man in his own image does anybody wants to look like a snake or cow. In my point of view the human being can’t be any more perfect then it is. it does not matter if we have a similar genetics like what some animals have all I know is that human changes their looks depending which part of the world we are livening and that is why there are different colure shape and sizes and What about the number we breed just as quick it depends according to the number of years that was given to us most probably if we had shorter years like animals then the breeding will be more like a chicken. What science can’t get into their mind is, of all animals Gorillas or Monkeys have similar intern or near our shape but I think God wanted to look like us if you get my meaning.

I had to chose a third way because I don't think much of science is valid enough to attempt to get it to align with scripture. How often do science books need to be updated? How often does the Bible need to be updated? There you go ...

Fascinating, and so provocative that here I am seconds away from casting my ballot and I'm thinking perhaps I should have checked the third way option.

My definite opinion is that God is truth and that He does not lie, and that men are fallible. Past errors in scientific conclusions are documented and are many.

Yet, all readers of Scripture are mortal. Our past errors in understanding are documented and are many.

    Blessings.....
