When you hear someone called an "Apostolic Leader" how does that rub you?

Being sent & promoting sent-ness is an awesome responsibility. I am totally on board with fear & trembling. I don't think aposto leaders are that concerned about the recognition or approval of people, their accountability is to God.

    Travis. I know that :)

It's not meant to be scientific but just to get a feel for who is reading.

We have readers across all spectrums so its fun for all of us to see who we are in a different way.

But you're right, hopefully this blog can move the whole church towards number 1.

I guess I am reading too much into the term, so I am having problem picking from your options above. I would consider the source - Are they referring to themselves or are they being recognized by someone else?

I am 100% on board that it is a valid and much needed calling today. However the term is often misunderstood inside the church, and has no meaning outside.

One needs to be careful when using the title of Apostle. There is an office of Apostle which were filled by the 12 and the office is no longer valid since the foundations have been laid by them Ephesisans 2:20. There was also an office of Prophet in the OT. There are gifts of being an apostle just like prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. All that to say there is a difference between capital A "Apostle" and lowercase a "apostle."

Okay, but you got to admit, you posted this poll on a blog called Release the APE that is targeted toward apostolic people who feel marginalized. :) It's good to see these numbers...but I'm not sure they are reprasentative of any large cross section of Christianity. Not that that's a good thing...
