I don't agree with military single parents; it is a never ending heart-breaking problem for them and everyone around them.
The BIGGER issue here is that an officer, whose word is to be trusted without question, has lied. It is NOT ok for officers to lie and if she doesn't understand that, then she REALLY has no place in the military.
Single parents of either gender cannot enlist or be commissioned. If she is commissioned in the Air Force, it will open up a can of worms no one wants to see.

As a military wife I see time and again airmen or soldiers trying to get out of deploying or even doing their job because of their kids having single parents only makes this a bigger issue if your gonna be in the military your going to deploy and having a child shouldn't change that or make you special so to cut out the issue I agree 100% with the ban on single parents
