Should Christians Drink?

I use to be in the dark about this topic; and I was an occasional wine and cheese girl. Then with the help of the Full Life Study Bible, the Holy Spirit said no more and here's why. This is from the notes and articles.

There's fermented (intoxicating) wine, the kind you let sit and get to a certain temperature and then there's unfermented (pure, sweet fruit of the vine). Jesus made wine out of water, yes. The miracle was done to manifest forth His glory, so to suggest that Christ showed forth His deity as the One and Only Son of the Father by creating gallons of intoxicating wine for a drunken party would be irreverence. We know that Jesus was in perfect obedience to His Heavenly Father (2 Cor 5:21). It is contrary to Scriptual revelation concerning the perfect obedience of Christ to suppose that He disobeyed the Father's moral command, "look not thou upon the wine when it is red...when it movers itself aright," i.e., when it is fermented. Would you drink during pregnancy? No, right, and why not..because you don't want to harm the fetus or baby. So why would fermented wine be made by Jesus for consumption at a wedding where there were probably a few pregnant woman. Leaven in yeast produces fermentation and leaven is a symbol of that which permeated the whole and corrupts truth, righteousness, and spiritual life (gal 5:7-9). When things are difficult to give up we rationalize (rational lies) the acceptance of that thing until it feels comfortable.

It's a sin against the temple which house the HolySpirit of God. If you have ever drank in the world u know that it's impossible to stop with one drink. I've been around sipping saints and after one drink they start changing, and they r no longer holy. So for Jamie it's a sin because I've come to far from where I started from I'm not going bk. How can u stand in the face of a HOLY GOD with liquor on your breath. It's called wine & spirits liquor store. Even the devil knows its his spirit that controls drinking.

The sin comes in when you over indulge and begin harming the temple God created to house your Spirit, and become drunken. The wine/strong drink is not the sin. Its the character of ungodliness that one displays after consuming too much! Search the scriptures ppl before you call something a sin that God has not declared to be a sin!
