I think the surrogate was the 19 year old who was supposedly Pauls Mistress who may have gotten knocked up during their affair during the time Adrienne was goinh through fertility treatments! Why else would paul go alonv with the charade of lying to the kids and showing them pics with a pillow stuffed up adriennes shirt and saying "this was mommy when she was pregnant with you.." Adrienne stayed with him after that so she could get the babies she wanted so badly- she made the 19 yr old sign a non disclosure, gave her a big ck, and called it a day. She was fine stayinn with paul so long as it stayed a secret, but once it became public alk bets were off and her nonbiological tie to her kids is why she is so desperate to prove paul is an unfit parent! Becuz surrogacy agreements arent valid in california!

Regarding the kids, maybe it's Paul's sperm but not her eggs because she was older.
Or, they were never actually legally married, hence Brandi's comment at the reunion.

She used a surrogate BC she is not anatomically completely female (either transgender or intersexed).

I have thought for some time that A & P had a sexless marriage and that she did not like men before we got to this season's "secret" and then I suspected she had an ongoing affair with a woman. However, this is not fitting as "disgusting" in all circles, and the same if her sex was in question...or is it just "disgusting" on account that it was publicly said AND recorded by a television crew. Did I say allegedly, I mean you know this is just vicious gossip.

Could be Adrienne is gay - unacceptable to her family. Could be something like incest in her family of origin. Could be something about a family member doing something disgusting like being involved in a sordid affair or she herself being involved in a sordid affair. I am just riffing off the "disgusting" reaction they are all having. Her family is involved in the mafia or illegal activities?
