You simply cannot post a question raised by a juror, out of context, allegedly showing ignorance and then link straight to a poll as to whether jurors should take an intelligence test. How biased can you be?? I would have expected better from this website.
Maybe the juror thought that the foreman of the jury was trying to ask them to make a decision on unpresented evidence and sought confirmation from the judge that this was acceptable. Whatever the reason, we are tried by a jury of our peers... Thick people end up in the dock, so a proportion of the jury should be thick too.
