People can drink whether or not the pubs are open, so it's not an issue of one weekend, or alcoholism, or any other tiresome rationalisation. It is an issue of personal freedoms abd the restriction of same to pander to an increasingly irrelevant religious fringe.
Surely for the sake of one weekend people can survive without having to go to the pub!! #alcoholicsanonymous
