It's a shame that they can't give this "black man" any credit. He is the hero because of course anyone that is being held captive will take advantage of the opportunity that presented itself. It was brave of Charles Ramsey to put himself in a dangerouse situation to be a hero and save these young women. How is she the brave one when it is human nature to do what she did when the opportunity arose? Charles Ramsey is the brave one because he had the courage to place himself in a dangerous situation to save someone else. #RealTalk

Agreed! Who's to say there can only be ONE hero in any given situation? It's a shame that the police chief can't recognize that fact. I believe it took more courage for him to do the right thing and break her free, than for her to call out for help, (which I imagine most normal people held against their will for any length of time would do.) She would most likely still be in there had he simply ignored her pleas, beaten and restrained to an even greater degree for the near escape...

They are both a HERO, she is for taking the chance and getting his attention and he is for actually going and getting her out. God Bless Them All!!!!
