What is a Life Cost ?
Any life is Priceless and there is no excuse for anyone to tell you that "yours or anyone else" life is not worth living.
Anyone that thinks "It's simply not financially feasible", Please do us all a favor and rush to a house in front of a tornado and afterward, if you live.
Tell us that "It's simply not financially feasible".
    What is your life worth?

Why is this even a debate? Our children are Oklahoma's future. Have the politicians and economists lost their sense of direction that they make this issue viable only by petition. In the Moore Public School manual for students and parents it is emphatically stated a parents note for absence is no longer accepted, that only doctors, teachers, or the school board truly can determine our child's well being. However, when we ask them to take care of our children (wards of the state) they offer lame excuses. Today, May 21, 2013 during the press conference as our state officials answered the reasons why there were no safety for our children during a storm the excuse was given that schools had not applied for it or it was an old school. Having been in construction industry for over 30 years I have had to work within the states specifications to build our states schools. These specifications are written by our state officials. To defer that a school did not apply or it is to old is only placing the blame somewhere else other than where it truly belonged, with those who provide the specifications to build our public chools! Ramps, elevators, A.D.A. regulations, handrails, all of these features are required by the state but not shelters for our children in tornado alley. What a horrible travesty. Money is the reason and the price we pay? Our children's lives.
