I know that the teacher's testimony is true all across America we hear the same concerns. No Child Left Behind pushed America's public education into a tail-spin. It was not funded properly and move the educators into a teach for tests mentality- Political games are being played and our children are the true victims. My heart bleeds for the children. The poor classroom teacher is a victim of circumstances. The classroom teacher is a pawn-absolutely powerless with little or any support from the administration. In some schools they are prisoners of their children -if they complain about discipline problems they are viewed as ineffective teachers with poor managerial skills. Calling parents for help with their children is to no avail as they are the ones responsible for enabling such inappropriate behavior. It's a no-win situation and the loser -our children!
