Do you support TRAG continuing its legal battle?

TRAG is making a truly valiant stand on this vexed matter. I have observed Council actions and legal decisions with growing incredulity and rage and it is absolutely right to draw a line in the sand to halt the autocratic march of the current Council—the health of local accountability and democracy depends on it. Thanks to Scott Naylor for outlining the extent of Twickenham residents' opposition to the Solum scheme.

Congratulations to TRAG on standing up on behalf of the very large number of 4,000 and 3,000 Twickenham residents who have petitioned against the high rise and monstrosities planned, which I handed into both Richmond Council at the Council meeting of 1st November 2011 just ahead of the Planning Meeting on the 19th December on the Solum Scheme at the time of speaking to the new Development Plan Document adopted at this same meeting after the Examination in Public and large numbers supporting it, and the 3,000 petition collected over just 2 weeks to Cllr Tony Arbour on TRAG and residents behalf at the GLA when TRAG met with GLA Planning Officers.

Clearly I expected most if not all of my colleagues to respect our brand spanking new Policies which backed the Conservative election Manifesto and proclaimation no more top-down politics which the Lib Dems mastered whilst trying to force the River of Concrete proposal on the Twickenham Riverside.
