Don't get me wrong.... I don't want anyone to starve. But limits need to be set. I see way to many families on complete welfare/ food stamps... But they don't try to find work and are buying drugs with their children's food stamps!!!! I feel drug screens would be the wiser choice. Spend the money to save the money!!!!

I understand wanting to have people work to get food stamps but even than you still don't get as much as you would while looking for work or on SSI. Not so many people are lucky to find work because a lot of jobs are being filled for part-time so people can get a full-time pay. Plus, employers are looking for certain types of people and if you don't pass those qualifications you get passed on and this includes those dumb pre-employment questionaires. My point is everyone, including the homeless and people that have lost jobs are not able to find work right away and/or even a decent income so therefore nobody should have to just work to get food stamps so they can get the help they need to get back on their feet.

If you elderly and disable or a child you should not have work also some people are working and after paying bills there is nothing left for food people are so cruel the wouldnt care if people starved I would not want anyone to be hungry.

As hard as it is to get a job, why would you tell parents their kids can eat but not them, I do however think you should have to prove citizenship to get food stamps, my guess would be considerably less if we did.

IF THEY R DISABLED OR ELDERLY THEY SHOULDNT HAVE TO WORK BT IF U R ABLE TO WORK THEN U SHOULD HAVE TO LOOK FOR A JOB WHILE RECIEVING FOOD STAMPS.
Ridiculous, some ppl CAN'T find work. Why not cut costs somewhere else?? Oh right, they don't care if ppl starve.
they should also be required to submit to random drug testing
