If Donnie McClurkin's accusations are true, do you think it is fair that he was disinvited from the event?

97% of Black Americans including Christians voted for Obama, he stands for Gay rights in every shape, form and fashion. Now that they are wild and out of the box, everyone is complaining. So what did you expect? The Homo's are in charge and so now they kicked you out! What are you going to do about it? nothing!

I am just wondering - If there are any other "gospel" singers who were invited to this event WHY AREN'T THEY NOT STANDING WITH DONNIE - I would uninvite (BOYCOTT) the event! Let's get one thing clear - don't be dreaming that you can please the WORLD, and not offend JESUS, OR please JESUS and NOT offend the world!
Some folks are just "pimping" the name of Jesus - THEY DO NOT BELIEVE in the Bible - or the truth of the Gospel of JESUS CHRIST!.
Joh 15:18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
Joh 15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

Hallelujah! And, Amen! I agree with Michelle.. We must decide what side we are really on. Are we on the side of Jesus or the enemy as I view it. We as Christians must stand fast on/in our love and belief for God. His word says that His Word is the Word and shall never change. Likewise, we should understand and except that God is present in everything and with this wisdom know that even in opposition He is blessing us. Therefore, DONNIE, YOU WERE NOT MEANT TO BE THERE. It was God's will for you.

It is a struggle with US not being able to separate the direction of the Spirit of God and ourselves from the guidance of the world ways and conditions sometimes.

On principle, I too disagree with what the mayor did, but , he revealed to us who he really is and what he represents. We cannot serve two gods. Remember, you either going to love one or hate the other. The righteous shall not be forsaken, Jesus lives! God's thoughts are not our thoughts nor are His ways ours ways. As Psalms 35 denotes, we shall seek and ask Him to plead our cause, not man.

Be blessed and know that God is in control and that other stuff do not matter. I encourage all to stay focus on our father in Heaven, our God. Love with His heart and spirit and all will be well.

I love you Donnie McClurkin and the things of this world shall pass away. The event is over now, so seek the lessons you are learn and move forward knowing who you are and whose you are.

MUCH LOVE AND PEACE TO ALL THE READERS OF THE MESSAGE and may GOD BLESS.

Pastor Donnie should have never been invited to this event in the beginning. Anyone who stands firm on the value system outlined for us in the word of God should not "HEADLINE" any event that promotes a belief and a value system that is not according to the principles that we in the Christian world walk by. the constitution gives everyone a freedom of choice (right or wrong). It is an american liberty to choose the lifestyle he/she would like to live as long as it does not violate the rights of others. To that I say AMEN! And by the same token, we have the right to choose to live out the word of God and allow our lifestyle to be the spokes person for who we are and who Christ is in us. OUR LIVES (WITHOUT SAYING ONE WORD) IS THE GREATEST WITNESS WELL WILL EVERY HAVE. Those who are caught up in ANY form of sin and seeking to come out, God ALREADY has a divine plan in place in bringing them to KNOW HIM!!! WE JUST HAVE TO LIVE IT! PASTOR DONNIE IS AN AWESOME MAN OF GOD WHO I ADMIRE AS A PASTOR. Not because of his gospel fame either. THERE IS A GODLY PRESENCE IN HIM THAT THOSE WHO ARE IN TUNE WITH THE ANOINTING OF GOD....CANNOT DENY IT REST, RULES AND ABIDES WITH THIS MAN OF GOD. Being desinvited to the MLK event bares no shame on Pastor Donnie. It is only the times we live in and confirms the fact that we as "CHRISTIAN" need to step up and not just talk the talk but WALK OUT EVERY DROP OF GOD'S WORD TO THE LETTER! WE MUST SHOW FORTH CHRIST IN EVERY ARENA WE ARE OPEN TO...LOVING AND LIVING RIGHTEOUSLY.

Donnie has a right to his opinions and should stand strong on his morals behind his decisions. So should the Mayor of DC. If the event was inclusive of gays and their 'rights' as expressed by the laws and opinions of this country, and that clashed with what Donnie M stands for, the Mayor has every right to 'disinvite' him "in love". Sounds like the timing of the change of mind was messed up (the day of the event) but, that's not the question on the table.

I agree it seems the only voice that gets sympathy is the pro gay voice but it should be equal support for those of us who respectfully disagree with the gay movement

If homosexuals can voice there stance on how they feel about their life style then why is it wrong for Donnie to do so about his christian life style? Seems biased!
