when all the youth knows is what the hand held device is telling them, all youth will be controlled.
    Hence all learning will cease.
Learn, observe and make your own decisions before it is to late.

Pure laziness. Is this the type of citizen being raised to one day govern our nation? We are bound to fail in so many areas if we let the slackers move on to the next grade. Some high school graduates can't even read. Sit up straight and sharpen that pencil! You do know what a pencil is, don't you???

My child graduated from high school, and it sickened me. He might actually have a 7th grade education. The public school system already caters to the lowest common denominator, there is no reason to let it degrade any further.

We've already dropped the ball. We should be ashamed of our school system. It is not technology's fault. Take some responsibility mom and dad. TTFN

Absolutely not is it ok to use slang in school. By allowing this to go on teachers are promoting lazy people and promoting the development of what will eventually become Idiocracy. These kids in school now a days need to have proper grammar and schooling since they will become the next leaders of the country at one point.

Grammar should be taught as well. There are enough grown adults walking around using bad grammar that makels me cringe when I hear it. Children need to speak correctly.

Cyber slang is ok for cyber space. In school, proper grammar should be expected and if cyber slang is used points should be deducted from the score. That includes collage. Students need to learn where slang is acceptable and where it is not.

Ok? So what are teachers even doing if the kids don't learn or use proper grammar. Agreed. Laziness. What is wrong with people?

This question frustrates me so much that I struggling finding a way to respond. Technology "can" be great, when it is saving lives and creating jobs. It is not so "great" when it promotes laziness and takes jobs from people.
