I voted for Kaner because he's my favorite player in the game since The Golden Jet cranked up his slap shot for my Hawks. But Toews IS the player an intelligent owner would take. Born leader, (Kane IS growing into a leadership position) big and physical, and a very high hockey IQ. Although that one would be a draw, or even favor Kane. He has that "Gretzky like" ability to see the game the way few others do. I think he's in the top three passers in the game. So creative with or without the puck, and he has that one other thing that separates superstars: 88 is a HUGE "pressure player". His post season numbers are ridiculous! Among the best EVER, and he has scored some of the most significant goals in Blackhawks history. I pray that the Hawks NEVER have to make this decision. These two should absolutely NEVER, EVER, EVER wear another sweater. (Olympics excluded of course)

Kane is more talented and a bigger offensive threat. He's come a long way the past couple years behavioral wise too. JT, is a great leader and very good too, but, not as threatening offensively.
