Bad press makes lots of money for the NFL. It appears good guys finish last in today's NFL. I fear the days are numbered for good guys like Tannehill, RG3, Manning, Witten, etc.
He did not perform well enough and or as well as he should have to be the starter. He is in a soft place but, was given an opportunity to do better - to earn the start. By some people saying he would do better if he starts - then I say, no person is given the best position without earning it. He is a great player and possibly he will get his chance but, he has to step it up a bit more. As for comments about his religion, that is simply mindless chatter. The guy is a Christian and he has beliefs that are his guide. If he were a Muslim and he expressed his beliefs, no one sorry a$$ person would have the back bone to say something disparaging. No matter what anyone thinks, it is comforting to know that a man in his position would be so humble as to declare his faith - and keep trying. I believe he will succeed in the long-run - and then he will be successful on two fronts.

Teams will want to upgrade their rosters quickly. Who is Tebow an upgrade for?

His best fit would be Philadelphia. In my area we are stuck with Romo but I would take Tebow over Romo any day because Romo will never be better than he is now, win some lose some, who cares aka 50 percent loser, 50% winner. Tebow was a winner in Denver and he would be a winner again if he ever got a chance to start.

His Xtian views were incendiary & divisive.
As such, being released was the right thing.

Perhaps during the season due to injuries some team will pick him up.
