No, they shouldn't have to invite everybody but they shouldn't hand out the invitations at school. If there is a guest "list" they should be mailed to those children at their homes. This way there wouldn't be a spotlight on the party and who or who did not got to go.

I always invite the whole class when one of my kids has a party. Not all of them ever come. My kids enjoy it and it's good for the whole class. That doesn't make me or my kids losers.

The only people that voted yes are LOSERS. Tough to handle, but YES, you are a LOSER. Only a LOSER would want their child invited to a party b/c they are in the same class. Only a LOSER would drag their child to a party in which they were not wanted. Only a LOSER wouldn't consider the feelings of the child WHOSE BIRTHDAY IT IS and put their OWN feelings ahead of a child's, especially on their Birthday. What an insensitive LOSER you must be to demand that you be included where you are not wanted. And only a LOSER doesn't have the Bullocks to explain life to a child (you can't be everybody's friend). ONLY A LOSER would put their OWN DISCOMFORT ahead of being a PARENT.

There are to many childern in a class. Would not be safe to try & handle them all & other friends they might want to invite out of school & family. Plus they dont all get along

Why should we invite the class bully to our child's birthday party? Just so he/she can continue their bullying our children at home? I think not. Where is the incentive to make the bully straighten up? The way I see it, the administration in question is enabling the bullies.

I have two girls, birthdays are same month one week apart. Called it *Birthday Bonanza* month. Cake was everywhere!! Imagine a whole class room hyped up on cake and ice cream. ummm ..i think not. As they got older there were two parties. We let them pick a certain amount of children that "we" felt comfortable monitoring. We are responsible for all those children. If there was a sleepover usually 4 to 5 girls all night was plenty for me.
