College athletes should be paid to play, I mean which college athlete that's and good wouldn't wanna be paid to play. Example Johnny Manziel hes in college and just rolls in the bank.

Roland - Here's my take on the athlete getting paid. Just exactly how much will each athlete get in the form of payment? On a football team there are approximately 40 to 50 kids on the team. Should the ones in the spotlight get more than the ones that never get into the game? Will the spotlight player get $10, $20, $30 $40 per hour or a large stipend while the player that is not in the spotlight get minimum wage or a lower amount of stipend? How often will you pay the athlete monthly, weekly, bi-weekly? I take my questions from the incident with the rich Texas A&M player. This problem has been around for years and the NCAA has never addressed this issue. Yes, there will be a problem because each player will be paid a different amount. I am for paying an athlete but what will be fair game? One more question. Should an athlete get their own deal as you stated in other fields of athletics or academic majors? If yes then maybe we will have more kids graduate.
