Should children as young as 12 be allowed to work?

    i vote for yes so kids can work and so there parents don't haft to get them stuff

    I think if they wanted to, they could. I'm not saying they should or be expected to, but only if they desire to. I know when I was in 7th grade, I had my first job because I wanted to rely on the money "I Make" and not on the five dollars my parents would sometimes give me. I still had fun outside of it and usually only did it during the summers or on Saturdays. But this was a decision I made and no one forced me to. I learned a lot about work ethics. So if a 12 year-old wants to work, then they should be allowed to.

    No they should have the same opportunity that you and I had. That is to grow up and play if a child fails to play they tend never to grow up or grow up to fast . I don't think chores is to much to ask but if we let our children work their are parents that will take advantage of this. Just leave your children to be children for a few more years they will turn out a well adjusted adult .
