This seems such an odd decision by the bbc. It feels as if next they will have MOTD without any reference to the rules of football or remove Brian Moore from the 6 nations commentary. Personally I think to have someone offering analysis of the technical aspects of F1 is fantastic for those who are curious and the younger viewers who may then seek a career in engineering. Too often I feel that the broadcasting media are scared explaining anything that has a slight reference to mathematics.
I would hope that Mr Anderson is not too old for the bbc, maybe they would prefer Brian Cox so they improve the coolness of the coverage.
