Miles' work has been nothing short of spectacular - as die hard Husker fan it was so sad to see our bball team sit as a conference dweller under poor leadership and lack of commitment from the AD - for MORE THAN A DECADE. In about 1.5 years into his HC career at Nebraska, Miles has completely erased those memories and inspired a fever in our passionate fan base. The team is not just riding some hot streak though - you can see how well this INCREDIBLY young roster has grown into one where each player fully grasps and excels in his respective role and each play so unselfishly that its just a really neat group to cheer for.

so yea Tim gets my vote

Fran McCaffrey hands down if it was for biggest crybaby of the year or the biggest whiner!!

Unbelievable what he's done at Nebraska, and in so little time.

unless nebraska loses out, he's already the coach of the year. his team was picked to end up near the bottom of the big. now they're knocking off giants right and left, and were one bad call from being undefeated at home.

Spartan for life, but I got to go with Big Red. Tim Miles has done a fantastic job with the group he has. Fran needs to control his temper more before I vote for him.

Tim Miles by a mile...doing it with less than what the other coaches on this list are!

I am voting for Fran McCaffrey today, but if Miles gets Nebraska into the NCAA tournament, he is the Big Ten Coach of the Year.
