Is it now time for baseball (MLB) to adopt a "hard salary cap" at the top and bottom end of the teams' payroll obligations ?
No it is not , as things are working as they now are
Yes it is , because the ongoing imbalances makes it tough on small market teams to retain talent
I simply do not care one way or another !
Baseball got itself into this mess and they can climb out of it , if they choose to !
