The entire purpose of a primary is to select the best nominee for the party to proceed to the general election in November. Asking Nan Rich to drop out totally defeats the purpose of the primary and, in my view, is undemocratic. Let the voters decide who would be best to go up against Rick Scott and let that be done on the merits. Toward that end, we voters need a debate to hear these two candidates articulate their ideas to solve Florida’s problems, so we can vote accordingly. Neither should have anything to hide and the one that refuses to debate should NOT get any votes!

There will be an election August 26 where Nan Rich will be competing against Charlie Crist. There is not a chance of splitting the vote between the two. One of them will be running against Rick Scott in November. Nan can beat him.

Nan will pull off an upset. Women outnumber men in our Democratic primaries. The women are behind Nan. True Dems know who is in our side at the end if the day. This happened when Charlie ran against Marco Rubio.

Well, now, Charlie is the only one that can beat this monkey we have as governor. If Nan stays in it will split the vote and we will have that looser still in office.
