At first glance they appear very alike but they have different ears, especially the top of the ear. Also the tip of the nose seems different, although photos taken atdifferent angles can make faces look less similar. I don't believe this is the same person.

The ear shape is different & the hair line is different. I don't believe they are the same person.

I've come across similar situations myself. I think the key is the shape of the ear. I don't think they match.
