My personal and private beliefs are that it is completely possible to love someone and not trust them. Trust can be lost and renewed but once you love someone that remains. Choosing to love someone gives you the reason and strength to work through issues of trust. I also believe that we posess the knowledge of knowing whether or not we have the ability to trust again. The ability to trust is different for each person.
