Helping to build critical thinking skills for the general public surrounding scientific issues (e.g., climate change, evolution, etc)
Also, helping to fill in the gap for kids who are not getting enough science in K-5 schools (when their interest is strongest) by providing high-quality science education experiences (more workshops, classes on weekends and after school, etc.)
