I guess with Michael Sams in the NFL these think piece trolls need something else to talk about. Except, there is actual homoophobia the media & a trope about the old out of touch pop pop isn't it. Or has this guy not watched G4 or seen Reddit?

That article was so disingenuous and lazily written. Not having your shirt on means your gay? Weird means gay? Someone inform GLAAD that they're sleeping on the job. All these people running around saying the "w" word.

Seriously, this shit came off as so manipulative. So many people don't understand that its okay to have a character that is extremely flawed. Honestly, this just feels like another article about how black people are just soooo homophobic. I mean, by the end of the post all the male characters were now super homophobic.

The fact that a simple turn of phrase would cause an "Internet Controversy" on a show no one wanted to see succeed , unfortunately does not surprise me. Then again, writers should have known better than to say GAY on NETWORK TV (Keep those eyes open for the Velvet Mafia). This is the reason everyone is moving to Cable series, and off NETWORK (other than them Big fat network checks).

When I saw the title, Black-ish, I cackled. I immediately thought they had pulled one over on the unsuspecting media people because I read it as Black-ishT/Black-shyt. It reminded me of the time someone got away with using NINJA in the Washington Post and 'we' all knew what he meant.

Who is the moron that thinks this show is homophobic? Seriously? As a gay-black-man there are plenty of things for us to worry about. Like my boy-friend and I getting chased and shot at just for holding hands on the South Side of Chicago.

If they think Black-Ish is homophobic, I hope they never find out about Three's Company, or any stand up from the 80s.
