First of all, she was exposed due to TMZ and now TMZ is trying to make up for the poor judgement of implying that folks on the bus missed their flight. Really? Dudes, grow up and get real. The only thing that slows a bus down at an airport is the traffic and the folks on the bus. Every bus driver I ever had at LAX has helped me with my bags getting on and off the bus. Lighten up. All is good.

I say it is unprofessional to do what she did. At no time should an operator of a movable machine leave the machine unattended while on the clock. It is never a safe thing to do. You are being paid for all the hours you are on the clock. Some of the clock time can only be used to save lives especially that of your customers but not to satisfy an own whims and caprices. For the decision, I do not know what the policy of the Company says. Disciplinary decision is for the Employer to make.

As long as she secured her bus and did not put her passengers in harms way, I don't see anything wrong. Especially if her passengers got off and took a selfie to! They probably was happy she stopped so they could get one to! Most operators I know would of kept driving just to be nasty.

For everyone who says oh it wasn't professional of her. I guess u are perfect. Her passengers got off the bus and took a picture right before she did. When the family on the bus hears about this they should speak up for her. Was she late for her next stop, did her passengers complain. No cause they were snapping selfies too. It may have been a short and spontaneous moment but if she's working, she shouldn't of stopped the bus and get off. When you're on the job, your mind is supposed to be set ON the job and not anything else.
But I also don't agree with her manager too. The manager should of (maybe) gave her a warning (unless she has stopped and gotten off before. But according to her statement, it was her first time).

K.O Maxie, did u not read what was said it was very brief, and obviously it was not in the handbook that says she couldn't take a pic, the passenger got off the bus first and took a pic and she asked the passengers was it OK and they said no so what's the big deal, its a picture its not like she parked the bus and got something to eat, what crime happened I hope this gets to Kevin Hart u dirt bags.

We are humans first people! This holier than thou, rigid way of thinking drives me crazy. We are quick to harshly judge the actions of others but slow to apply the same rules to self. I wasn't there, but based on what I read, her actions don't warrant suspension without pay unless she has a personnel file filled with corrective action we don't know about. Give a verbal or written warning especially if there was a complaint made.

Boycott National Rent Car until she get her job back. A simple warning would have been sufficient. No one was injured, no one drove off with the shuttle. Lighten up National..it was Kevin Hart. And, no Kevin should give her a job, but perhaps he should place a call to National!
No Suspension. Maybe a warning. She obviously didn't know any procedure against it. It obviously wasn't inconvenient to other passengers, 'cause they did it 1st & also...SMdarnH! The 'old' shoot 1st & ask questions later.

Kevin Hart is in no obligation to give her anything. She made a bad and dangerous decision. What she needs to do is get her priorities straight and grow up and not be a groupie. Kevin would fore her to if she was driving him and seen Denzell and parked in the middle of the road and went to take a selfie with him. I have no sympathy for her lack of judgement. I do hope this will be a wakeup call and she in the future will make better judgments and do her job responsibly !!!

Totally a no no what if someone had got on the bus while left unattended and driven off and had an accident resulting in death or injury. She was on the clock paid to drive the bus and to allow a passenger to get off without giving warning he would be left is another thing. Suspended is light I would fire her because her priorities were not in the best interest of safety and company policies. That small lack of judgement could have escalated into a multi million dollar law suit as well !!!
