Would Dr. Ben Carson be a more serious contender for the Republican presidential nomination in 2016 than Herman Cain was in 2012?

Barry, Barry. Using big words to make yourself sound more intelligent isn't really working. What side pushed for the Civil rights movement you say? The Democrats. Nope. Republican senator Everett Dirkinson pushed for the civil rights movement. Not LBJ. He even went as far as writing the language for the Civil rights act of 1968 which prohibited discrimination in HOUSEHOLDS. Republicans started HBCU's (historical black colleges and universities) and the NAACP. I know you don't believe me. So go look it up in some encyclopedia. Not one of the liberal new sites you are probably reading will tell you that. Furthermore, who is running for the presidency on the left side...Hillary Clinton and other old white men. On the right wing we don't only think about Black people but other races, we have Marco Rubio (Cuban) and Bobby Jindal (Indian). Enough with your boneheadedness and not checking the facts.
Darlene Ennis. Obama ran for president and had little experience and got the presidency. Twice. Also last time checked anybody could run for president. The common man can. Not just lawyers. That's all we have. Lawyers know how to lie and twist and manipulate the law. Why not try a doctor instead of a lawyer or business man? He could also really help on the healthcare aspect too.

Ben Carson running for President as a Republican?
Look,I know this man had a great career as a neurosurgeon, and he came from abject poverty, but if Republicans think they are going to use him to lure more African-Americans to vote Republican, they're a lot more dense than I thought. The G.O.P. has insulted and lied on Black people since 1968. We don't forget stuff like that. That party will never get an appreciable number of votes from the African-American community, with the behavior that party has shown, and this man is just another token they've trotted out more for their own entertainment, and we don't find it to anything more than just another insult. Besides, they're so racist, they would never let him have the Republican nomination,so they can have him along with the rest of the cast of that minstrel show (Cain,West,Dash,Thomas,Scott,Love,Rice, etc.)
