It's a fair deal, she didn't deserve 20 or more years, but she was far from innocent. It's NOT a warning shot when you shoot into the wall just behind he idiot ex and 2 kids. She was smart to take the offer, and ignore the idiots who wanted her to go to trial, where she would probably lose AGAIN.

First off I'd like to know what idiots think she should have had a tougher consequence, second why are so many cases of blacks being treated poorly in America. When will we be excepted, & treated equally in this nation? Last, but not least this woman committed no real crime, but people like Zimmerman can go free & even point a gun at his girlfriend & he is considered a hero? When will it end?

When dose a women have the right to protect themselves, the law needs to be amended and have more conditions added to circumstances. Based on what and why not just because it is a written law. every law has circumstances that supports it. that women should not have done a day in jail.

The court system failed big time in protecting a woman who took actions to protect herself from physical abuse.

Their are three main issues with this Plea Offer, (1) She was defending herself in domestic violence instance, not random act of violence. (2) This Plea agreement allows for release, but home confinement with monitor; that's house arrest (3) Its conviction of the felonies, regardless. The law has flawed application in this case, and was meant for habitual criminals, and, or for those who have committed multiple acts in single violent crime, like armed robber.
