My kindle keyboard had multiple issues...battery wouldn't hold a charge/drained really fast, sometimes it would freeze, sometimes all the content would disappear, it responded really slowly, and sometimes only part of a page would load. I recently replaced it with a Voyage.

My old Kindle Fire 1st Gen did not have TTS so I needed an upgrade. In between Fires I bought a used Kindle Touch from Amazon to get TTS capability. When the Touch died, I upgraded to the Fire HDX 7. Like it but honestly the TTS worked much better with the Touch.

My HDX7 would not hold a charge so I got the newer version. Not ecstatic about that.
