Toys R Us and WalMart should be on the Naughty list! We tried to just exchange 2 characters that my son received 2 of. Now, these were not open, they still had the tags and the only thing we did not have was the receipt because they did not include it with his gift. My husband when in and asked it he could just exchange them for ones he did not have and the young man who waited on my husband thought it would be no problem but, when the manager came over, he said nope can't do it! Even the man that was trying to help my husband was surprised and said to the manager, "You can't be serious." The manager snapped, "CAN"T DO IT!". He was losing nothing and as I said they were unopened and could have gone right back to the shelf! I have decided that since they had to be so terrible about simply exchanging a toy that he had gotten 2 of that I am returning the $400 bucks worth of other things that we bought at Toys R Us for Christmas...I have the receipt for every last one of them! I can understand if we had gone in there in asked for our money back that they would not allow that, but this was just an even exchange for the same item just a different character. BAUH HUMBUG Toys R Us! They are the worst! WalMart is just hard to deal with all the way around, but it seems as if it has gotten worse this year. I did not personally try to return anything to them however, heard a horror story from a friend about how they treated her trying to exchange and again it was an even exchange for items that they received 2 of with the packages unopened and tags still in place. They were telling her that people steal things and try to bring the, back. I will never understand what in the world we could possibly benefit from by doing an even exchange. How does this apply to an exchange? Cash, yes, exchange, NO and why? So we can go stand in line for an hour just to rip them off? If anyone knows the benefit of an even exchange please, do share because I fail to see why this is a problem. I have learned my lesson for sure:)
