Rod is just a supporter of President Obama. How come no one was a Bush Apologist or a Reagan Apologist?
Rod is just an unabashed supporter of the President, that's all.
We all know that Rod is very loyal and when he supports you, he goes all in and that's what he is doing with the President.

I just think Rod's being pragmatic. I have some issues with how President Obama's handled administration, but what I like about Rod's comments about Obama is that he gives us perspective on all the unprecedented shit that Obama has done for this country and how he and his family managed to deal unwarranted detractors on all sides with grace and restraint.
Like PrinceLeron mentioned above., I'm curious about how people will react if presidential candidates on both sides choose to ignore race issues in this country. If the protest continue and become more organized, or if blacks place the same standards on white politicians. Perhaps things will change, but time will tell.

Rod's basketball stories were part of what motivated me to get back on the court like old times. Got out on the court, made my first couple shots like I never left...yadda yadda yadda, 5 minutes in, jumped for a rebound, immediately felt the kick Kobe described when he ruptured his achilles.
Because that wasn't enough bad fortune, I'm between government contracts at the time for work, which means normally I'd be temporarily uninsured. But I'm not, thanks to that dude Hussein.
So in short, yes, it's possible Rod may be the biggest Obama apologist on the Internet. But only because I don't have a podcast. Because nigga if I had a podcast EVERY SEGMENT WOULD BE ABOUT OBAMA THE G.O.A.T.! Guess the greatest president, Obama the baller alert, all that. At this point Obama could build the keystone pipeline through my house and I'd be like "there goes Barack playing chess while y'all out here playing checkers!" Be grateful y'all get more level headed Obama discussion here at tbgwt.

Apologist, What is this egregious action has Obama every committed that anyone needs to apologize for? I refuse to play the game where black people(and progressives) have to bash Obama to be taken seriously or to be seen as unbiased. Even the black people that bash Obama are complaining about the emotions of his comments and not what he is really saying. Come to me when he is wrong not when he didn't show whatever emotion you wanted. Also, I refuse to compare my comments to the President's because I have room be wrong and he does not. What gets me heated the most is the has soon as Obama leaves office all these people will immediately drop their standards. But maybe I'm wrong, we'll see.
