If you read marriage books, how are you affected generally?

I usually see things that I know God wants me to change and sin from which I know I need to repent and things I can work on to bless my husband

I usually see a lot of areas where I think my husband could improve

I usually feel angry because I try to get my husband to do the things the book says and he won't cooperate

I often feel resentful that we don't have a stronger marriage

I usually feel more prepared to handle problems in our marriage and to respond in godly, mature, selfless, grace-filled, joyful, peaceful ways
