I laughed, cried, so many times!!!! It was the best show on television. The show had so much truth in it. The family's emotional highs and lows were relatable. Absolutely an amazing show.. so sad it's off. Nothing like it on television. The finale left me sitting in a chair crying, I rewinded it probably a million times. I'm devastated the show is off. I will definitely be buying the DVDs, every single episode. Thank you for giving us a show with substance. You just took it off way to soon..

I will miss this wonderful show so much. It was beautifully written and beautifully acted. I felt these characters were part of my family and miss them already. I am often too optimistic for my own good and did not really think the writers would kill off Zeke. I thought when he saw his new great grandson, baby Zeek, he would decide to take a chance on the surgery so he could continue to enjoy his growing family. I would have been fine not knowing if he would make it through leaving each viewer to decide for themselves. Sorry but I was mad and the other scenes were great but I had a hard time enjoying them because I was so mad about Zeek. Anna

awesome finale but it's still over. I am boycotting NBC because Of this show. I'm tired of getting hooked on shows and because some idiot guy in a board room and suit decides he's not making enough money we (the viewing public) pay the price. There are plenty of other shows out there but nothing up to par as this show was. Shame on you NBC for falling victim to greed !! you should respect your viewers more than that.

We knew by the storyline that Zeek was going to die, but greatly saddened by it. But, the flash-forwards were fabulous and it was great to see this resilient family continue on a positive note.

I wish it has been a 2 hour season finale!! I enjoyed the finale and thought it was beautifully written, but wondered why Adam and Christina's oldest daughter didn't have a flash forward scene. She was at the wedding back from college but I would have thought she would have been with her partner since last we saw her she came out to her family! I'll miss Parenthood very much ...such a great cast of actors/writers!! Thank You!

The ending was great. Much better than I wrote it finished. I had The Military Guy go balistic for Amber not allowing him to see the baby. That when the whole family was together he came and shot at everyone and he ran off with the baby. Then when all the dust settled and who survived you could start a new drama series. Or it ckuld have went that way and have Zeek wake up as it was a bad dream (Like Dallas) and the show come back next year.

They were normal and most like all of us in our everyday lives making the same mistakes and having the same interactions within the family. What an excellent cast. They touched my heart and I am not easily hooked on any series. But, this one had me from the start. Kind of reminded me of the former show, Thirtysomething which I also loved. These shows are entirely too short lived. I guess because they are believable and real. The general public must want to live in fantasy land with shows that provide unrealistic lives. Kudos and many many thanks to the writers, producers and each and every actor of Parenthood. This girl is surely going to miss her Thursday nights with the Bravermans.

This show was not only realistic, but modeled how important family is, even with adversity. It gave hope on so many levels from dealing with divorce, illness, autism, adoption etc. People tuned in because they identified with it. There's not a much on TV that even comes close to that kind of story line. I think I speak for just about every viewer when I say. " Taking it off the air was a big mistake and a huge loss. Feeling disappointed is an understatement. I feel like I've lost contact with my extended family ......

I LOVED THIS SHOW, and still cannot believe it was taken off the air. The family reminded me of me and my siblings. It was like having an extended family in many ways. If they HAD to take it off the air I wish they would have given it a 2 hour finale. A show of this caliber deserved to go out with style. It was obvious that Zeek was not going to live, and as sad as it was, it was also realistic. I'm gad that they did not draw his death out or make it a focus scene; they handled it perfectly. I think my favorite character was Adam. As the oldest of five children, I can relate to his role in the family. Most of all, I love his relationship with his wife and family. He was always so positive and comforting. He was like a rock in a storm, with a sense of humor. So sad they will no longer be a part of my Thursdays.

Where to begin? It was the perfect ending to the perfect show. I cried from the second it came on to the second it finished. Thank you for showing us how everyone ended up. I hate when shows end and give you no closure. The montage was emotional. I wish Zeke didn't have to die but again that is life and that is what we so loved about Parenthood, it was about a Real family with real life issues. NBC, you suck. You keep getting rid of quality for crappy, violent and sexual shows. With the ending of this wonderful show the only thing that watch is SVU. I wish the network would have besides not canceling the show, would have made it 2 hours. Would have loved to spems a little more time with them. To Mr. Katims, the writers, producers, crew and most of all the wonderful and talented actors of Parenthood, I thank you for bringing the Bravermans into my life. They were funny, loving and like most families, disfunctional. We all saw a piece of our own families in them. We have laughed with you... Cried with you, loved with you and we grew with you. I will miss you Bravermans. I hope we get to see again.

I too am sad to see this series end. I loved this show! I also feel the finale should have been 2 hours. All the scenes that had to be cut could have been shown. In any event, BEST TV show I've seen in years!!! Sad it ended.

I cried my eyeballs out during the final episode. I was disappointed it wasn't a 2 hour finale but I still thought it was very good. It's a shame the show got cancelled all together. I am going to miss the Bravermans. For me it was the best show ever made. It touched my heart! I-am so going to watch my dvd's over and over again. NBC no more Thursday nights from me.

Parenthood has been been outstanding all along. Every episode was rich with plot, emotion and real life. I looked forward to it every week and was so consumed that I couldn't believe how quick the one hour would pass. It's hard to believe it's now wrapped up when so many of us are such fans. Thank you for casting such a strong group of actors who work so well together and thank you for amazing writing. I will really miss it!!!!!

The BEST show on television just ended. I loved each & everyone of them! I felt emotionally attached to this family and cried my eyes out pretty regularly with them. Like everyone else, I wish it could've been longer or that the show wasn't cancelled to begin with. The actors/actresses were superb and I will miss the Braverman's dearly. Showing the preview directly afterward was a "slap" in the face!! Will I be watching the new program--definitely not. Quality tv no longer exists!

The only reason I gave a C rating is because this should have been a two hour finale. We should have been allowed to see everything that was cut! Parenthood was the only show on TV that depicted a real family. As much as I love Shonda Thursday night on ABC, I always watched Parenthood and recorded the ABC show. I also like Elementary on CBS, but recorded it too. I like The Blacklist, but NBC has made a mistake putting it on at the same time Scandal is on. So, I will be recording The Blacklist and watching ABC on Thursday night! Sounds like NBC doesn't want The Blacklist to win. When The Blacklist was still on Monday night I watched NBC and recorded CBS (NCIS Los Angeles). Now, I watch CBS and record NBC, State of Affairs.
Vidalia, I would say NBC has shot themselves in the foot on several nights. It seems the shows the older folks like are the ones cut. I realize the ratings come from a much younger age group, but what the networks are not taking into consideration is that us older folks watch a lot more tv now than we used to, so ratings should cover all age groups.
Having said all that, I will miss Parenthood very, very much. At least we got a little glimpse of the future. It would have been great to see how it all unfolded over the next several years. To watch Crosby and Amber come into their own would have been awesome to watch. Since Adam's and Christina's children were growing up, Joel and Julia could have been the go-to home for the family. There was a lot more stories to tell for this family. I wish all of the actors much success!

From someone who doesn't get "attached" to TV shows and characters very often, I feel a gaping hole in my heart with Parenthood gone. The cancellation of this series makes no sense. I know so many intelligent people who watch and discuss it weekly. Even the in-between season hiatus' were hard to bear. I guess it was too smart, sassy, real, honest and meaningful to compete with the other idiot shows on network TV. It was a money thing, of course. I LOVED the finale, and seeing Zeke's "empire" succeed, proliferate and just LIVE ON, was absolutely heartwarming. I hope we get to see some reunion shows. I must reiterate that the network execs who make the "stay or cut" decisions, should be fired. And they wonder why network TV is failing….go figure!

I absolutely loved Parenthood ! My daughters and granddaughter all watched it. In fact, for the finale one daughter and one granddaughter were at my home and we got another daughter, who lives out of town, on the phone and so we were all watching at the same time. Have always loved Craig T. Nelson in all of his work. Each of the actors seemed perfect for the character they were portraying. Great storylines. It is just a shame that a show like this gets pulled and we just get more violence or stupid comedies. So many of my friends felt just the same as me so it's difficult to believe that it didn't have enough of a following to continue. Thank you to the writer, producer, and the Great actors !!

I am so sad that my favorite show has ended! Very bad call, NBC! I think that how the finale was written, was a perfect way to wrap up the story. Hate it that Zeek died, but isn't that true to life? We lose family members. It's sad, but it's something we all must go through. I sure do wish that Parenthood would have been given two hours to wrap up the best family series on television! Another BAD CALL, NBC. I definitely won't be watching The Slap. Are you serious? Strike three, NBC.

I've loved this show from the first episode to the last! The finale was PERFECT! Of course we all wish it was longer. Even an hour and half would have worked. Not only did us fans deserve to see all the scenes that were cut because of time but the writers and directors and every single person that ever worked on the show deserved extra time for every scene to be seen. That being said..I couldn't have asked for more. Everything was perfect. The flash forwards were great and unexpected. It definitely helped with the loss of Zeek. Thank you Jason for a great run!!! And anyone looking for another great show by him watch About a Boy! Crosby has made guess appearances on the show. As Crosby! Lol. It's a great show that needs more viewers. Parenthood will always be a special show and don't see it being replaced or duplicated anytime soon. Farewell Bravermans...you will all be missed!!!

I saw every episode of this show and loved every one. This is one of the best shows on TV and it's hard to understand why it had to end. Watching every week, the Bravermans felt like my family. I will miss this show immensely just as I miss Friday Night Lights, another wonderful show cancelled before it's time. The final episode of Parenthood was exceptional. Zeek's passing made me cry as he reminded me of my own wonderful father who passed away 3 years ago and was the core and strength of our family just like Zeek. Thanks for the flash forward. It helps somewhat to deal with the loss of this show and our Braverman family.

I would have given the finale an "A" but there were a few problems. 1. Too long of a softball game at the end. I would much rather have seen Seth meet his grandson than watch yet another missed catch of a ball by a family member. 2. Christina telling Adam about his new job as headmaster while she goes to work for some non-profit. REALLY? What kind of a marriage do they have whereby he wouldn't know about that other job offer? It made them seem like strangers.
Other than those beefs, it was marvelous. Even Hank kind of grew on me at the end.

I have LOVED this show from DAY 1 till the PERFECT Ending. Although, I am still in denial that it is over...it will take me a year or two. To everyone involved in it's production, cameramen, set decorators, cast directors, CAST & WRITERS... BRAVO!!!! Job Well Done. You will be missed. P.S. I will never support NBC on Thursday night again... FOOLS.

Wow. The only way the finale could have been better is if it had been longer. Why is it that the "dumbing down of America" shows get 2-hour finales and this wonderful show did not. I will sorely miss the peeks into the Braverman family story each week. Thank you Jason. What can we look forward to next from you?

i WILL MISS THE BRAVERMAN'S. i LOVED THIS SHOW--WANTED IT TO NEVER END. COULD RALATE TO IT MORE THAN ANY OTHER SHOW ON TELEVISON-HAVE FOUR GROWN CHILDREN OF MY OWN-TWO BOYS TWO GIRLS. I HAVE NEVER CRIED OVER A TELEVSION SHOW BEFFORE--BUT CRIED THROUGHOUT THIS SERIES FINALE.
THE ACTORS WERE PERFFECT EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM--SO GLAD THEY PRODUCED IT AS LONG AS THE DID. THANK YOU FOR ALL THOSE HOURS OF ENJOYMENT.

Since they decided to cancel the BEST show on TV, the very least NBC could have done for us would have been to give it a 2 hour finale! It was a great finale, just not long enough. You could tell that Jason had to cut down a lot of things and probably had to cut out some things to make the episode fit 1 hour. I don't know how I will ever forgive NBC for canceling Parenthood. It was the best show, and the only show I watched on NBC. So now, it's kind of fitting that I won't be watching NBC anymore (and I definitely won't watch a show like The Slap). Wonder how many other people that's true for? NBC may have shot themselves in the foot with this one. I would love to know how many viewers they have lost by getting rid of Parenthood.

The third act!! As a grandparent who thinks my grandchildren are the ultimate gift from God, that scene spoke directly to my heart as did the entire show. Could never have predicted the show would end with Braverman's life fast-forwards which was genius. How could we not all be touched by the depiction of these real life moments that happen to all of us: sickness, death, birth; disagreements, resolution; resentments, acceptance and forgivemess, and most of all the bonds and love of family.
Only to be replaced by more shows of aggression, violence and crime. I will miss you Bravermans!

I said all along Crosby/Amber Lunchenette makes perfect sense. Like FNL the Montague was nice, and to no ones fault, not enough, but well appreciated. Loved the Drew speech moment. Where was the family oldies dance off... the could have stuck it in wedding scenes... darn

From someone who doesn't get "attached" to TV shows and characters very often, I feel a gaping hole in my heart with Parenthood gone. The cancellation of this series makes no sense. I know so many intelligent people who watch and discuss it weekly. Even the in-between season hiatus' were hard to bear. I guess it was too smart, sassy, real, honest and meaningful to compete with the other idiot shows on network TV. It was a money thing, of course. I LOVED the finale, and seeing Zeke's "empire" succeed, proliferate and just LIVE ON, was absolutely heartwarming. I hope we get to see some reunion shows. I must reiterate that the network execs who make the "stay or cut" decisions, should be fired. And they wonder why network TV is failing….go figure!
I absolutely loved Parenthood ! My daughters and granddaughter all watched it. In fact, for the finale one daughter and one granddaughter were at my home and we got another daughter, who lives out of town, on the phone and so we were all watching at the same time. Have always loved Craig T. Nelson in all of his work. Each of the actors seemed perfect for the character they were portraying. Great storylines. It is just a shame that a show like this gets pulled and we just get more violence or stupid comedies. So many of my friends felt just the same as me so it's difficult to believe that it didn't have enough of a following to continue. Thank you to the writer, producer, and the Great actors !!
So beautiful! Love, love, love this show and am so sad to see it go. Especially, since we got glimpses of storyline a that could be. Nothing else like it on TV.
I am so sad that my favorite show has ended! Very bad call, NBC! I think that how the finale was written, was a perfect way to wrap up the story. Hate it that Zeek died, but isn't that true to life? We lose family members. It's sad, but it's something we all must go through. I sure do wish that Parenthood would have been given two hours to wrap up the best family series on television! Another BAD CALL, NBC. I definitely won't be watching The Slap. Are you serious? Strike three, NBC.
I would have voted the ending show as awesome if Zeek hadn't died . Also I kind of missed some of the peeks into the future at the end.
I've loved this show from the first episode to the last! The finale was PERFECT! Of course we all wish it was longer. Even an hour and half would have worked. Not only did us fans deserve to see all the scenes that were cut because of time but the writers and directors and every single person that ever worked on the show deserved extra time for every scene to be seen. That being said..I couldn't have asked for more. Everything was perfect. The flash forwards were great and unexpected. It definitely helped with the loss of Zeek. Thank you Jason for a great run!!! And anyone looking for another great show by him watch About a Boy! Crosby has made guess appearances on the show. As Crosby! Lol. It's a great show that needs more viewers. Parenthood will always be a special show and don't see it being replaced or duplicated anytime soon. Farewell Bravermans...you will all be missed!!!
I miss the Bravermans already! Thanks for the wonderful send-off. I loved the music and montage of this final episodes. What worked? Less talk, more music and laughter and love. Thanks for sending us into the future with both tears and smiles. And for letting our imaginations just play with how they all got there.

I saw every episode of this show and loved every one. This is one of the best shows on TV and it's hard to understand why it had to end. Watching every week, the Bravermans felt like my family. I will miss this show immensely just as I miss Friday Night Lights, another wonderful show cancelled before it's time. The final episode of Parenthood was exceptional. Zeek's passing made me cry as he reminded me of my own wonderful father who passed away 3 years ago and was the core and strength of our family just like Zeek. Thanks for the flash forward. It helps somewhat to deal with the loss of this show and our Braverman family.
I would have given the finale an "A" but there were a few problems. 1. Too long of a softball game at the end. I would much rather have seen Seth meet his grandson than watch yet another missed catch of a ball by a family member. 2. Christina telling Adam about his new job as headmaster while she goes to work for some non-profit. REALLY? What kind of a marriage do they have whereby he wouldn't know about that other job offer? It made them seem like strangers.
Other than those beefs, it was marvelous. Even Hank kind of grew on me at the end.
I have LOVED this show from DAY 1 till the PERFECT Ending. Although, I am still in denial that it is over...it will take me a year or two. To everyone involved in it's production, cameramen, set decorators, cast directors, CAST & WRITERS... BRAVO!!!! Job Well Done. You will be missed. P.S. I will never support NBC on Thursday night again... FOOLS.
I don't like tv too much but never missed an episode...thank you for bringing a REAL show to entertain my family! I will truly miss the wonderful writing and cast. Bravo!
Wow. The only way the finale could have been better is if it had been longer. Why is it that the "dumbing down of America" shows get 2-hour finales and this wonderful show did not. I will sorely miss the peeks into the Braverman family story each week. Thank you Jason. What can we look forward to next from you?
i WILL MISS THE BRAVERMAN'S. i LOVED THIS SHOW--WANTED IT TO NEVER END. COULD RALATE TO IT MORE THAN ANY OTHER SHOW ON TELEVISON-HAVE FOUR GROWN CHILDREN OF MY OWN-TWO BOYS TWO GIRLS. I HAVE NEVER CRIED OVER A TELEVSION SHOW BEFFORE--BUT CRIED THROUGHOUT THIS SERIES FINALE.
THE ACTORS WERE PERFFECT EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM--SO GLAD THEY PRODUCED IT AS LONG AS THE DID. THANK YOU FOR ALL THOSE HOURS OF ENJOYMENT.
Since they decided to cancel the BEST show on TV, the very least NBC could have done for us would have been to give it a 2 hour finale! It was a great finale, just not long enough. You could tell that Jason had to cut down a lot of things and probably had to cut out some things to make the episode fit 1 hour. I don't know how I will ever forgive NBC for canceling Parenthood. It was the best show, and the only show I watched on NBC. So now, it's kind of fitting that I won't be watching NBC anymore (and I definitely won't watch a show like The Slap). Wonder how many other people that's true for? NBC may have shot themselves in the foot with this one. I would love to know how many viewers they have lost by getting rid of Parenthood.
The third act!! As a grandparent who thinks my grandchildren are the ultimate gift from God, that scene spoke directly to my heart as did the entire show. Could never have predicted the show would end with Braverman's life fast-forwards which was genius. How could we not all be touched by the depiction of these real life moments that happen to all of us: sickness, death, birth; disagreements, resolution; resentments, acceptance and forgivemess, and most of all the bonds and love of family.
Only to be replaced by more shows of aggression, violence and crime. I will miss you Bravermans!

I said all along Crosby/Amber Lunchenette makes perfect sense. Like FNL the Montague was nice, and to no ones fault, not enough, but well appreciated. Loved the Drew speech moment. Where was the family oldies dance off... the could have stuck it in wedding scenes... darn
