I don't currently have anyone who needs this service but I think it is a great idea and would certainly refer someone.

Absolutely- this is an area which has been almost entirely overlooked in traditional travel guides/planning. My Father in Law had Parkinson's disease and in his later years although he was otherwise in good health rarely traveled because my he and my Mother in Law were anxious about what sort of access certain places might offer. They were very adventuresome in earlier years so this type of service could have made all of the difference for them.

I would use what you have described in two ways. First, with small kids and strollers, we sometimes face some of the same accessibility issues. Second, my mother has a back condition that affects her ability to walk more than a few paces at a time. She has all but cancelled her travel as a result. I would love to find a way to open that door for her again.
