awesome amazing... just a little bit rushed. I would have like d to have seen lady Gaga hang on to the end notes a little bit longer. but then it would not have been her own arrangement it would have been an imitation of Julie Andrews.

What an amazing performance of Lady Gaga! I knew she had a good voice after listen to her singing live "a capella", but I didn't know she was able to sing with such an excellent vocal technique. I'm not a fan of her, but she has proven to be a true artist and singer, not like most of those artificial pop stars like Madonna, Spears and others, which aren't able to sing not even a single note without the help of computers in a studio. Also, it's clear that Gaga's natural great voice has received a full vocal training for years. She's really a mezzosoprano with a darker tone than the wonderful Julie Andrews; Gaga's voice reminded me better Jane Froman, a great american singer from the past. Brava Gaga!, I hope we have the opportunity to listen her doing more of this kind of things, besides her pop songs.

Beautiful isn't a strong enough description. I have watched the video many times. She is among the best singers we have ever had. I am not a young person. Have liked her thru all as I could hear that true voice.
I pray she will continue to show the world her beauty and talent which she has worked hard to accomplish.

Eat your hearts out haters! She is a wonderful performer and fully educated in her field unlike many others. if you haven't heard or seen her performing live, then you cannot judge and you will have no clue of her voice range and potential. She can sing anything.

She is a vocally trained singer and we've only seen a glimpse of her talent. I think this was a breakthrough moment for her. Having said that, I couldn't help feeling uncomfortable with the tattoos, as they did not lend themselves to the class of the songs she performed. For me the outstretched arms at the end of the performance that exposed those tattoos, diminished somewhat the exquisite performance. I do think that Lady gaga, after having heard this performance, is the most gifted singer we now have in the female arena. I would like her to know that she can relax now, give up the quirky, shock staging of her musical appearance, and just let the public be amazed at the beautiful voice she has been gifted with.

We knew we could really SING after we watched her performance with Tony Bennett. Tonight she was brilliant. Hope she does more of this. She was also brilliant on the Stevie Wonder tribute. Bring it on!

Who knew? I never paid much attention to her music and even wondered why people said she had a great voice. Was ever I shocked when she started singing. I thought she was terrific, actually the highlight at the Oscars. With that voice I hope she does more mainstream music.

Lady Gaga gave a phenomenal performance singing melodies from Sound of Music! I did not know she had a beautiful incredible voice! I thought she was just an artist with shock value. She was awesome! Perhaps I will start listening to her music now that I know she really can sing! WOW!
