Season 4 was great but at the same time nick & jess' relationship after break up seems unrealistic. I really do hope they get back together. However, it would have to be a big realization that these two characters were meant to be together. Something big would have to happen in the show like nick having an old colleague from law school come in who is wreck less and chases after jess. Jess having so many failed relationships decides to become wreckless with nick ' s old colleague. .... the duo becomes dangerous together and some how get in an accident resulting in jess in the hospital unconscious. In the meantime nick remembering the words he said about missing his friend (jess) when they broke up realizes that he misses jess more than a friend. After hearing about the accident nick blows up on his old colleague from law school and punching him in the face, jess finally wakes up with nick holding her hand and has fallen asleep..... nick finally acknowledges to her: I know that I have my friend always but I miss my girlfriend.......
