It appears that Gibbs is not feeling his best. Get better Mark Harmon. Let's keep the new open relationship between Mark and Dinozzo. The fact that Dinozzo feels validated to confront Gibbs and practically forces him to stay. True partners. I love it.

Getting rid of Gibbs is definitely a mistake I find it hard watching with Zeva gone cause I don't like new girl she doesn't fit. Like with CSI getting rid of main characters ruined the show now it's going off air what a mistake.

I love NCIS; never have missed it, but without Gibbs, I'm afraid I'll be going the way of the Buffalo! I loved NCIS-LA too, but in their infinite wisdom, CBS programmers have moved it to an unwatchable hour. As far as NCIS-New Orleans, thought I'd love it because of CC Pounder, but this show is truly awful.

Gibbs is my favorite actor on the show! Having him shot by a child was bad enough but if you let him die by a child's hand I feel that you are sending a message to all terrorists. Gibbs has been extremely successful at surviving many attempts on his life. This ending is unsatisfactory and will be Mark Harmon's legacy instead of what he has earned as the glue in this show. Whenever people talk about the show the way Gibbs died will be all people talk about. Please reconsider. I saw the hand writing on the wall as soon as NCIS New Orleans started and I have been concerned that the end was near for my favorite show.

You already lost Ziva, and won't offer her enough to come back. The new girl is ok, but she is no match for what Ziva brought to the show. DO NOT GET RID OF GIBBS. I love the show, and watch and rewatch the shows over and over. Gibbs makes the whole show with his calm quiet sincere ways. There is no show without him period.

Ridiculously predictable and boring finale... The writers should be shot for such a cliche ending. Even though I like Gibbs and the show, I'm so irritated by the weakness of this ending, I could care less if he dies. There's foreshadowing and then there's serving up the plot in a silver platter. Absolutely boring.

The only good writing for this show this last season were the three events leading up to Gibbs' shooting. I somehow KNEW something like this was going to happen. The writing this season was downright terrible up until this latest scenario about child terrorists (excellent idea) and probably not far from the truth. If Gibbs dies and comes back as a ghost, I'm done. I was almost done when "Ellie" came on board - UGH! If she had been a little older, a little more unattractive or even believable as an agent, instead of eye candy for the guys, I would have been happier with this season, but alas, it is what it is and for some reason I think Mark Harmon may be ready to retire and Ellie is a mute point. NCIS has been the best show on TV ever but it has to go sometime and I have a feeling there's only one season left, just don't end it with Gibbs dead. NO, NO, NO, writers! For once, end a show with our main characters happy and with partners we've all guessed about all these years.... (Abby w/McGee) (DiNozzo w/Ziva) (Gibbs w/Boren or even the shrink) One can only hope....

On another note I'm with Ela and would love to see Ziva come back. I'm a slow learner, but just figured out that Gibbs is damaged from all the girls he lost. His Mom, daughter, Kate, Ziva and Dianne. But do remember that he wanted Ziva to follow her heart and I can see how they could easily fit her coming back to be with the team to mourn Gibbs loss and having a healthy relationship build between she and Tony. The show kinda speaks to Mark Harmons life and difficult shoes to fill with his Dad. He clearly loves kids and family for real, so maybe since they couldn't marry him off in a functional relationship on the show, through his death, they could have Ziva return but not as an agent, have Abbie and Tim get together and have kids, and reinvent the show with drama and happily married agents, staying alive with the help of Gibbs counsel from the grave? We could still see him a lot on the show and allow the other characters room to grow. I mean really, Tony can't stay a 2 year old forever!

Based on previous episodes I can see Gibbs being killed BUT continuing on the show as a ghost, or like Mike Franks; as Topper was in the old days, popping in on the team just as they've had dead characters do all along. For all those under 50 or maybe 55, Topper was an OLD TV show about a guy who was a ghost. It COULD work but I wish they'd waited another season

I've watched NCIS from the beginning and was upset when Kate was killed off and glad when Cote (Ziva) came on ,and seriously mad when she left , but I have been a Mark Harmon fan since I first saw him on several shows so YOU can't KILL him off that will be the end of the series for me . I'm still waiting for Ziva to come back and end Tonys single life !! So please Mark (Leroy Jethro Gibbs ) Harmon stay , your my reason for sitting on Tuesday night's . From a fan holding on to hope.

We watch the show every week, only good one on TV, and watch all re-runs over and over; if you get rid of Gibbs, the show will soon be gone--love all the other actors, but Gibbs holds it all together. Wish you could bring Ziva back--Bishop is okay, but gives nothing to the show; if you can't get Ziva back, get someone who represents her character--colorful and exciting.

The entire show revolves around GIBBS. I know Mark is celebrating his 65th birthday and may want to retire but I fearful that that will also bring NCIS to a close. I think the other actors are great, do a good job to bring their character to life but let's be honest the GIBBs character is the lead.
With that said I hope they don't end the show and have Gibbs recover. I also think the character Bishop isn't bring to the set anywhere near what Ziva did. For that reason Bishop needs to be replace with someone more colorful.
NBC has given the show another season so let's hope the writers do it right.

NCIS is the only show I watch. It is all about Leroy Jethro Gibbs and his team. I know all good things must come to an end, but I can't believe that Gibbs is gone. After the show I was so upset. It is a good cliffhanger, but I hope that Mark Harmon can find a way to bring the best actor and cast back for an unbelievable 13th season. I watch the show over through the week On-Demand. It always makes me laugh. Thank you!
Like everyone else if you do away with my Gibbs you will kill my favorite show. They all fit very well together.
Leaving us hanging once and a while is fine; but don't kill the best show on TV.
