Danny Ortega never sold out. He BS'd everyone from the start. This re-fried-communist - ex Cuban Castro graduate step by step took advantage of the week leadership that was left and came back to Nicaragua in 1990, He is a very smart guy inside Nicaragua and unfortunately took the old road of corruption-control, silence, threats, and lost vision of what could have been the easiest, most profitable (without the need of corruption) and life long "positive fame" by using these outdated tactics. Nicaragua is a gold mind. I tell my gringo amigos that the only thing we do not have in Nicaragua is snow and deserts. We have oil, natural gas, billions in gold, minerals the Russians found out about and are secret, millions of acers of farming land tons of water, and people that are easy going happy go lucky that characterizes your typical Nica that is a fast learner, and hard worker. The speed of today's new world markets and techno advance makes it even easier to become a hero, but as I mention Danny's old school of leftist BS revolution excuses is out dated. The leftist are not needed in Nicaragua, because we are only 6.5 Million fighting with each other over badly managed national assets. Shame on these folks that use lies and pressure to control the population. As always they do not read much history....the old sayings do return to the center of the stage...What turns around goes around, and always keep an eye on "your cycle of life and accomplishments. Do good and avoid evil is the best saying that these Sandinista folks also forget about. Its only a matter of time until the toilet backs up and the shit hits the fan. As a joke and a way to knock down his stupid handicaps, I mentioned to Aleman that we should consider "leasing" the country to a multi national company to run things. Its harder to run the city of Miami than the whole of Nicaragua....pathetic waste of time for so many years. Bottom line...most....and I would say a good 80% would not care who runs the country.....if it was done 100% honestly and always thinking ahead of the game 5-20-50 years in advance. As we use to say in high school in Washington, D.C. - It's a no brainier! Wonder why with a population of 2.5million in 1978, Nicaragua was awarded the best and largest grain producer. Tacho Somoza D, was a very progressive man, learned his final A,B,C,'s in WEST POINT, continued the USA relationship of keeping the military, drug control, China-Russia invasion, and anti-communist (leftist ideology) out of Central America....What happened. Kennedy failed leaving Castro alive, when he could have blown him away and stop the whole communist movement on this side of the world that had a safe zone (Cuba), and the biggest dork ever to run the Presidency in the USA - Jimmy Carter.......cut Somoza off military aid to combat the communist. Ever wonder why the National Guard of Nicaragua fought Sandino with the Marines for 7 years, why the Nat. Guard went to Guatemala and stopped a communist from being President......they also went to Sto. Domingo to stop another communist......how about building the biggest airport on the Atlantic Coast of Nicaragua for the Bay of Pigs Invasion that Kennedy also fucked up. There are other things that during the Somoza years aided the USA and friends world wide. My dad Dr. Guillermo Sevilla Sacasa was ambassador from Nicaragua to the USA for "36 years" and was a signing-founder of the OAS....United Nations.....we were the first ones to back the USA during Hitler, we have always back and promoted Israel as a independent country.....and a place called Taiwan.......funny how reports always get the sad sobbing war victims side and say nothing about the realities of life.
