This is just another step in human evolution, some people feel both masculine and feminine and don't like being identified as one or the other and would like to remain neutral, this has nothing to do with their sexual organs. It's a matter of being able to define yourself and not let others do it. Let people be themselves, it doesn't affect you so just be a good person and be open minded.

We are all human beings. We all deserve freedom to be who we are. It's unsure what our purpose on this planet is, but life can certainly be made a great deal easier if we all support one another. Yes, gender should most definitely be removed. For all those people who believe that it should not: imagine being forced to play a role, and finally you break free and feel happiness for the first time in your life...Except Everytime you show ID, that struggle you endured now becomes public, and you are forced to deal with public scrutiny. It is simply unfair to force people to commit themselves to "sex" or "gender" as they ARE NOT BIOLOGICAL. People do not go through these internal struggles because it's fun. Open up your mind. If society never developed , think of where we would be today...
Plus, we're all in this together, show some compassion.

The birth certificate states the facts at the time of a persons birth. If someone is born male and later identifies themselves as female, then add a spot on the certificate under their gender at time of birth that says what they identify themselves as.

Why hide what you are? Are you ashamed? Seems like you want to hide the truth. Maybe some of us are proud of what we are and want it on our birth certificates. Why do you want to take our rights away?

At birth you are either male or female if it so happens that later on you identify yourself as the opposite then change it as they have clearly stated that it can be changed! What a waste of time.

C'mon what you have nothing too complain about lately what does this have to do with human rights when we are born we are male or female if at some later date a person wants to change that fine give your heads a shake idiots .

I do not think gender should be removed from birth certificates. If for any reason this needs to be altered for any reason, the parents or individuals can do so at their own discretions.

I don't think gender status should be removed from birth certificates. After all a person has to be of adult status to change things, and that's a long ways away.
