Should TLC cancel '19 Kids and Counting?'

I have watched this show and was mesmerized by these people and their household, way of life and their challenges. I have watched other TLC shows for similar reasons. But I was troubled when the revelations about Josh were made public. I have no desire to punish him or the family. And his soul and the souls of any/all who knew about this are not my concern; forgiveness is not the issue. Whatever "forcible fondling" he did to five young girls and for which he sought counselling from either clerical or professionals is none of my business. How the authorities to whom the actions were reported did not charge the young man with criminal sexual assault DOES concern me. And how others such as Huckabee and even his parents see nothing criminal in his assaults both amazes me and sickens me. The young man is a sex offender. His parents are on television promoting a prayer-based, God- fearing way of life and a Christian life . They are seen as model parents by many. Even though Josh is grown and has apologized and repented and moved on, he is a sex offender. Those who offend usually do not do it once or are not "cured" by counselling, I am familiar with youthful offenders on both personal and professional levels. The authorities charged them, they did time, they registered as offenders. I am sure that if this young man were from a less famous family, or a non-Christian family...or poverty or the inner city, etc., he would not have just been counselled and then apologized. Whatever happens to the show is of little interest to me. I will not watch the Duggar parents who I now see as the worst kind of hypocrites. I pray that they are down on their knees praying for their own souls and for any other girls Josh may have assaulted or may assault in the future.

TLC----what in Gods name are you thinking????Of course the show HAS to be cancelled. I don't believe the percentages you're posting...and if you don't cancell it, we'll start a campaign boycotting any sponsers! You should be ashamed of yourselves.

No family is perfect and unfortunately this issue happens in far more families than we like to admit (I know it has happened it my own). If anything I think this has been good learning process and one we as the audience can learn from as well by watching them on TV as a family if they continue to air so we can see the struggles they will be faced with ahead. All families have skeletons and I'm sure this will not be the last in this family! TLC needs to stand by the DUGGARS in this time of need and show forgiveness just as our Lord does! And yes it was wrong but they need us right niw, the victims need us, and the parents need us! There is a lot of blaming going on but the truth is that won't fix anything or take it back. What's done is done, it's in the past and can't be changed. It's best to move on. I'm sure the parents could have handled things differently but there's no use dwelling on it. And at the same time unless you are Jesys, our Lord, you can't judge others and say you ar better than anyone regardless. We don't have that right. Forgiveness was asked, that is something in the family. It is not our business to get in the middle and say or judge that! TLC has stuck by this family too long now, they are like family! We have seen this family through many struggles. How can we turn our backs now? This is one of the best families on TV. They have taught me do much, on how to try to get out if debt. About life skills , spending more quality time with your kids, etc. you can't even compare other shows like Honey boo and manor to this! This is quality TV! Please don't take this away! I would be at their doorstep now trying to help if I lived nearby! Please keep them!

I am appalled at how many people are voting to keep the Duggar's in any form on the air. Their brand is DEAD...why would I want to watch the 'victims' going through everyday life as if they were NOT victims of child molestation? It would be a farce! La La La La La......oblivious to the real reality of life!!! Since this scandal, I have questioned my own reasons for watching a lot of TLC's programming....entertainment I suppose BUT now that we all know that Josh Duggar was molesting his own sister's, I would feel strange, odd, creepy about watching a show with the Duggar sisters in it.

REALLY?There isn't any room for negotiation absolutely they should be pulled from TLC! To even think they would even consider trying to make money off two of the sisters that may have been affected by this sex offender is crazy! What is your problem TLC I will never watch your station ever again due to the fact that you have waited way to long to pull the show! This should not even be a decision that you would even have to think on just do it! TLC is supporting This family that has put minor children in jeopardy of a lifetime of memories and heartache of having to act happy working with a sex offender that has hurt them to their soul! God only knows if it has happened to more siblings and friends children that they don't know of yet! What is really scary is he has minor children of his own! I guess as long as some people make money it really doesn't matter how they make it. Shut this show down TLC before your whole station is shut down because you don't have enough viewers to support it!! Nothing good could come out of all this its not worth trying to hang in there with this show they are done and they need to thank their parents and brother for them being washed up!

Was it complicated when Paila Deen was summarily fired for a 30 year old racial comment? This is outrageous. The show should be cancelled and that means ALL of them. No new shows for any of them.

The parents covered up the horrible actions of their son and instead of canceling the show TLC may decide to run a spin off of two of the daughters who may also have been their son's victims. As a parent of a daughter who was molested I find this possible decision to be outrageous and disgusting. Yes forgiveness goes a long way but should TLC go this route it gives the appearance that they are rewarding this family for bad behavior.
