How much effort should IndyCar put into making sure that Honda returns?

Minimal. If they don't like it here, they should not let the door hit them on the way out.

A fair amount. They've been a good partner and they would be tough to replace. But no partner should have that much power.

They should do whatever it takes to keep them. Honda has been one of their best partners. Losing them could be a fatal blow.
